Graduated with honors in 1995 in Computer Engineering at the University of Bologna, since 1995 he has been pursuing research at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information (DEI). He has carried out his international research activity in cooperation with numerous foreign research institutes and universities. His research interests are in the field of control theory and robotics. He is author of more than 250 scientific publications on the topic of linear and nonlinear control systems that appeared in magazines, book chapters, and international conference papers. He is also author of 3 international monographs. He is an IEEE Fellow “for contributions to feedback design of nonlinear systems and unmanned aerial vehicles”.
